Worship

Join us for a spirit-moved service centered on liturgy, scripture, preaching, prayer, and the love of Christ. We offer an open and safe space for every person to come as they are, to ask deep questions, to grow in their faith, and to go into the world as the hands and feet of Christ.

Sunday Worship

A welcoming place to worship, grow, and belong.

What is your worship service like?

Our worship blends the richness of Christian tradition with thoughtful, relevant preaching. We sing hymns, pray together, read Scripture, and celebrate God's presence through music and community. Services are welcoming, meaningful, and typically last about an hour.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable! You'll see everything from jeans and polos to dresses and jackets. There is no dress code—come as you are.

What time is worship?

Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m.

We also livestream our services each week for those joining us from home.

What should I expect when I arrive?

You'll be greeted by friendly faces, but feel free to interact as much/little as you'd like. Grab a bulletin or utilize the screens at the front of the sanctuary and sit wherever you'd like. If you have questions, our ushers and members are happy to help.

Is your church accessible?

Yes. We strive to make our church welcoming and accessible for everyone. Accessible entrances, seating, and restrooms are available. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know—we'll be glad to assist.

What about children?

Children are always welcome in worship. We know that kids sometimes move around, shout out, and make noise; that's ok! We believe children are an important part of worship and the future of the church. There is a children's time during the service where kids may come down for a lesson with the pastor and there are toys and activity books available to help during the service.

Do I have to be Presbyterian?

Not at all! People from many different faith backgrounds—and those with no church background at all—worship with us. Whether you're exploring Christianity, returning to church, or simply curious, you are welcome here.

Will I be expected to give money?

No. The offering is an opportunity for members and regular attendees to support the ministry of the church. As our guest, your presence is the only gift we hope you'll share with us.

Who can receive Communion?

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) practices an open table. All who trust in God's grace and seek to follow Christ are invited to receive Communion—it is Christ's table, not ours.

Do I have to agree with everything you believe?

No. We believe faith is a journey, and questions are a healthy part of that journey. We welcome honest conversation and people who are still exploring what they believe.

How can I get connected?

The easiest way is simply to introduce yourself after worship or fill out a Connect Card. We'd love to get to know you, answer your questions, and help you find ways to participate in the life of the church.

Is everyone welcome?

Faith United Presbyterian Church seeks to reflect the inclusive love of Jesus Christ. We welcome people of every race, ethnicity, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, family structure, socioeconomic background, and stage of faith. Whether you're certain of what you believe or still searching, there is a place for you here.
