Brandon Ouellette
Pastor
A native of Galesburg, Illinois, Rev. Ouellette received his bachelors degree from Monmouth College and went on to earn his Master of Divinity degree at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. This being his first call, Faith UP Church is excited for Pastor Brandon's vision and enthusiasm as he begins his career in ministry. Some of his interests include the intersection between religion and science, faith and technology, and inter-religious dialogue.
Drew Allaman
Treasurer
Drew began his employment at Faith UPC in 2021 as our Treasurer. A native of the rural Monmouth area, he grew up on a grain and cattle farm working with his family. In 2020, he graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Engineering, Business, and Agriculture. Drew currently works full time as a grain and cattle farmer. He enjoys tending to the cattle and the crops while carrying on a long standing family tradition of farming. In addition he is glad to offer his efforts to his home church, which he and his wife Stephanie officially joined in 2020. He looks forward to working with the various committees, individuals, and businesses that keep Faith moving.
Debbie Dingman
Director of Wednesday Night Live
Debbie became Director of Wednesday Night Live in January of 2013. She earned her
bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and her Master’s degree in
reading/language arts at Western Illinois University. She taught at Roseville Elementary School
and Monmouth Roseville District 238 for 33 years before retiring in 2012. She is secretary of the
MR Education Foundation, a PEO member, and active in a book club.
Debbie has been a member of Faith UPC for over 40 years. She has been a Deacon, Elder, on the
C.E. committee, taught Sunday School, is in the Isabel Circle and is very active overall in the
church. She loves working with so many wonderful kids and volunteers. Her favorite quote is
“God is Good, All the time! All the time, God is Good!”
Dr. Solee Lee-Clark
Organist
Dr. Solee Lee-Clark joined Faith Presbyterian Church in September 2018 as organist. Solee, a native of Seoul, South Korea, has studied piano in her native country, the United States, and Paris, France. Currently, she teaches piano, music theory and serves as staff accompanist at Monmouth College.
Known for her versatility as keyboardist, Dr. Lee-Clark offers concerts on piano, harpsichord, and organ. As a pianist, she performed at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, New York in 2014 and was invited to return for a performance in 2018. She has received awards from the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, the French Piano International Grant, and the Global Education Opportunities Award. As an accomplished collaborative artist, she appeared concerts at the Third Coast Trombone Retreat, White Lake Chamber Music Festival, International Trumpet Seminar at Grand Valley State University, and Blodgette Recital Series at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
Dr. Lee-Clark is a graduate of the Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance at West Virginia University. She received her Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Music degree from Kangnam University in Korea. She studied piano with Christine Kefferstan, Steven Harlos, Gabriel Chodos, Nancy Bricard, and Sung-ja Kim; organ with William Haller and Huw Lewis; and harpsichord with Greg Crowell.
Robert Blackford
Administrative Assistant
Robert Blackford started working at the church in 2015. Prior to that he was the Editor of The Times Record newspaper in Aledo Illinois for 14 years from 2001-2015. Prior to that he was the Editor at the Review Atlas in Monmouth. He has worked in the newspaper industry for over 20 years. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 1986 where he majored in History.
Lorna Blackford
C. E. Director
Lorna is currently a seminary student at University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. She is a long-standing member of Faith Church, where she has served in many capacities: PW moderator, Ruling Elder, Clerk of Session, and on the Christian Ed, Stewardship & Budget, and Mission committees. She is no stranger to education, having taught high school math and science here in Monmouth for 23 years before she left her job to focus on seminary and became the C.E. director at Faith. Before becoming director of Christian Education, she helped with confirmation classes, went on a mission trip through our presbytery to Ferguson, MO in 2018, accompanied our youth at Presbyterian Youth Triennium in 2016, taught music at Wednesday Night Live for 6 years, and served as science or music leader at VBS many summers. Since becoming director, she has helped hold VBS at this church the past two summers, working with other churches to serve the youth in our area. In this position, she strives to ensure that the teachers feel supported and have what they need for Sunday School so that our children can learn more about God and develop their faith. To this end, she also prepares worship materials weekly that correlate with the lectionary texts.
Tom Clark
Director of Music
Thomas Clark, is an active director and performer known for his unique baritone voice, as well as his interpretive conducting skills. Praised for his versatility, Clark has performed in all of the forty-eight contiguous United Sates as a vocalist and music director. Clark was honored when he was selected to perform at the World Trade Center’s Ground Zero St. Paul’s Chapel for relief workers following the terrorists’ attack. Clark holds a Masters in choral conducting from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Mansfield University, Mansfield, Pennsylvania. Clark has been a guest artist at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and is an active member of Nova Singers. Clark currently is an adjunct vocal instructor at both Knox and Monmouth College.
